Getting To Carowinds:
The Carowinds theme park is located at Avenue of The Carolinas, Charlotte, NC 28273. It is easily accessible by both public and private transportation. The general directions to get to the park are as follows:
* Basically, the first thing you should do is take the I-77 until you reach the South Carolina Exit 90. You should take this exit which is located at the border between North and South Carolina. Once there, the way to the park is a pretty much straightforward drive.
* If you are coming from Charlotte, the first thing you should do is travel southwest towards W 4th Street through S Tyron Street. On the way, you will see W Hill Street to your right. Make a right turn here and travel straight before taking the ramp onto I-277 S. Then, you should take the 1B exit going towards Columbia.
Keep on the left side of the road because you will have to make a left turn at the fork nearby. This will lead you towards I-77 S/US-21. You will be traveling on this road quite a while before you take exit 90 to get onto Carowinds Blvd. Finally, you just need to make a right turn at Catawba Trce in order to reach the park entrance.
